Over the next year, Ukraine will face a period of profound transformation, important political decisions and possible negotiations, while the country will remain at the center of international attention. Professional astrologer Kseniia Bazylenko told UNN about this, analyzing Ukraine's solar return chart.

The astrologer drew attention to the fact that the solar return is forming near a period of eclipses. In the astrological tradition, such periods are considered a time of accelerating processes and intensifying accumulated contradictions. According to her, this does not mean inevitable catastrophes, but it may force the country to address issues that have long been postponed.
Ukraine will remain at the center of global attention
Bazylenko believes that Ukraine is unlikely to move away from the forefront of international events. According to her, this is indicated by the strong emphasis on the first house of the solar return chart, where the Sun, Mercury and Ketu are located.
At the same time, the astrologer interprets Ketu next to the Sun as a symbol of accumulated results from the past. Therefore, in her opinion, the coming year may become a period of summing up the previous stage and taking responsibility for decisions that have already been made.
The country's leadership will play a special role. In the astrological tradition, the Sun is associated with power, while the presence of Mercury, according to Bazylenko, enhances the importance of negotiations, diplomacy, legislation, documents and information.
She also links these trends to the economy, emphasizing the importance of the quality of state governance, transparency of decisions and the fight against corruption.
Regarding the war, the astrologer sees no grounds to say that military tensions will disappear completely during the year. At the same time, she believes that the possibility of negotiations will remain.

According to her, much will depend on the political will of Ukraine's leadership, the position of its partners, the parties' readiness to reach agreements and Kyiv's ability to defend its own interests.
Alliances and changes in government
The astrologer separately drew attention to the position of Rahu, which in her interpretation symbolizes the direction of development. It is located in the partnership sector, so Bazylenko identifies the creation of new alliances, the strengthening of coalitions and the deepening of relations with international partners as among Ukraine's main tasks.
At the same time, she emphasizes that strengthening international ties should not mean losing one's own identity.
To preserve ourselves — and learn to become stronger together with others
Changes may also affect the system of government. According to Bazylenko, there are two possible scenarios: the current leadership may become an agent of reforms and restructuring of the system, or, if the system is unable to change from within, the transformations may affect the model of governance itself.
At the same time, she noted that this does not necessarily mean a change of specific politicians, but rather a test of the state system's ability to respond to new conditions.
Society will face emotional exhaustion
According to Bazylenko, one of the most tense indicators is the position of the Moon, which in mundane astrology symbolizes the people. In her view, this may indicate a high level of emotional fatigue in Ukrainian society.
People may react especially sharply to decisions that they perceive as unfair or detached from real life.
The state is first and foremost its people
She also describes the economic indicators as tense. This concerns household incomes, the cost of living, trade, logistics, agriculture and the state's ability to provide for basic needs. At the same time, Bazylenko does not consider the chart to be an indicator of an economic catastrophe.
In her assessment, international agreements and partner support could become important stabilizing factors. She describes the economic formula for the year as a combination of limited domestic capabilities, competent governance, assistance from partners, and economic restructuring.
Among other areas, the astrologer highlights the labor market and medicine. She predicts pressure on traditional forms of employment, but at the same time believes that new ways of working may develop. In medicine, she says, Ukraine’s accumulated experience in treating injuries, rehabilitation, and prosthetics could serve as the foundation for new technologies and methods.
Bazylenko also named children’s safety as one of the year’s priorities. She emphasized the importance not only of physical safety, but also of psychological well-being, education, and opportunities for recovery.

Ecology and its importance
The astrologer identifies water resources, critical infrastructure, and environmental issues as a separate area of focus. She stressed that she does not interpret these indicators as a forecast of a specific catastrophe, but merely as an area that deserves greater attention throughout the year.
According to her forecast, migration processes will also remain an important part of the country’s life. Some Ukrainians may continue to live, study, and work abroad, while the return of people and the arrival of those wishing to contribute to Ukraine’s reconstruction may intensify.
Summing up the forecast, Bazylenko called the coming year not a quiet one, but a turning-point period in which Ukraine may move from the consequences of the previous stage toward the formation of a new model of the state.

She added that the main question of Ukraine’s solar return chart is not what exactly will happen to the state, but whether the country will be able to use the consequences of the past to build a new stage of its development.
