Ukrainian hospitals will receive 300 modern anesthesia and respiratory devices to provide inhalation anesthesia, which is used for complex surgeries. The equipment was purchased as part of a joint project between the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank. UNN reports this with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The equipment will be distributed to hospitals in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovs'k, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Donetsk, Kherson regions and the city of Kyiv.
We are currently delivering the devices to healthcare facilities in Odesa and Lviv oblasts, as well as in Kyiv.
According to the Ministry of Health, medical workers will be trained in the use of anesthesia and breathing machines.
The purchased modern expert-class equipment will be used to perform complex surgical interventions for people of all ages, including infants, which is its undeniable advantage. The equipment is equipped with a monitor of the patient's vital signs, as well as the ability to determine the concentration of inhaled anesthetic.
