The Ministry of Development has initiated changes that bring construction workers' salaries closer to real market conditions and make the system more transparent. This was reported by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, according to UNN.

The corresponding changes were approved by the Government. The decision is part of a broader reform and improvement of legislation in the field of urban planning
According to the new rules, the salary in estimates must now correspond to real market conditions. According to available data, it was previously often understated and did not correspond to actual payments.
Now its level is determined by the customer, but not lower than the average salary in construction for the region. An updated calculation formula has also been introduced, and coefficients are applied to the average salary:
- 3 - if less than 13,000 hryvnias;
- 2 - if 13,000-30,000 hryvnias;
- 1.5 - if over 30,000 hryvnias.
As a result, the estimated salary will be approximately 30,000 - 60,000 hryvnias.
Payment - only upon fact. The contractor receives compensation only for salaries actually paid. Now, along with the certificates of completed work, actual payments to employees must be confirmed. This means: fair pay for construction workers, fewer manipulations in estimates, transparent rules for business, and compliance with real market conditions
