U.S. President Donald Trump insisted on Tuesday that Iran has agreed to "highest level nuclear inspections" forever, even after Tehran stated that nothing has changed in its cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog IAEA, UNN reports citing CNN.

"Iran has fully and unequivocally agreed to the highest level nuclear inspections for a long term (to infinity!!!)," he wrote on Truth Social. "This will ensure 'nuclear honesty.' If they do not agree to this, there will be no further negotiations!"
This, the publication notes, was another salvo in the conflicting narratives about the state of negotiations that began over the weekend in Switzerland. On Monday, U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that an "important milestone" had been reached when Iran agreed to allow inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency into the country.

He did not specify what exact access they would have. And a few hours later, Tehran stated that its cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog would continue "in accordance with current procedures."
In his post, Trump confirmed that the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports remains lifted, which is a provision of the memorandum of understanding signed with Iran last week.
And he stated that any financial assistance offered to Iran would be provided under certain conditions, namely: the released funds would be directed to "the purchase of food and medicine exclusively from the United States, including corn, wheat, and soybeans from our great American farmers."
"These are things that Iran desperately needs. This is a humanitarian crisis, and I believe it is necessary to help now, before it is too late. Negotiations are going well!" Trump wrote.
