Ukrainian servicemen are undergoing specialized training in Poland as part of the European Union mission EUMAM Ukraine. This was reported by the General Staff of the Polish Army and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

The training is organized under the command of the Joint Combat Training Command and covers various types of combat operations, including in urban areas.
According to the Polish side, the military is practicing approaching objects, clearing them, and fighting in trenches.
Emphasis on close combat
The main focus during the training is on close combat operations and the interaction of units during fire contact with the enemy.
The training covers operations in urban areas, including techniques for approaching and clearing objects, as well as trench warfare.
The department noted that such training is aimed at increasing the operational capabilities of the Ukrainian military and improving the interoperability of units in conditions of intense combat operations.
