The Ministry of Defense has returned to the Armed Forces of Ukraine a significant amount of ammunition of various calibers, which had been transferred to enterprises for disposal as surplus before Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
The returned ammunition, after a thorough quality check, is already being used on the battlefield against the Russian occupiers
- artillery shots;
- ammunition for small arms;
- component parts;
- bombers, etc.
We are looking for internal reserves to provide Ukrainian soldiers with ammunition. We understand that today every shot, missile, and round is vital on the battlefield. Instead of disposing of the ammunition, we are "disposing" of the enemy. We give them a second life - we try to restore everything that can be repaired and further used. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that the "Czech initiative" is already in effect. The first 50,000 shells have already arrived in Ukraine, and some of this ammunition is destroying Russian occupiers right now on the front line.
