Ukraine will receive $454 million from the World Bank to develop the healthcare sector, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Tuesday, UNN reports .
According to the prime minister, this will support the government's efforts to prioritize funding under the medical guarantee program.
The money will be provided as part of the THRIVE project, which aims to help reform the healthcare system and strengthen its effectiveness in wartime conditions.
The program is funded by the Government of Japan, the World Bank, and a grant from the URTF Foundation.
THRIVE is part of a large-scale international support for Ukraine, which also covers education, transport, energy, agriculture and other industries affected by Russian aggression.
