In addition, the Supreme Court will consider two important cases related to elections ahead of the midterm vote in the U.S. In particular, it concerns a Mississippi state law that allows counting mail-in ballots received within five days after Election Day if they were sent on time.
The court will also rule on laws in the states of Idaho and West Virginia that prohibit transgender athletes from participating in women's sports teams at public educational institutions.
