According to the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, key topics of the negotiations will include issues of the steel and automotive industries, agriculture, as well as electronic payment systems.
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will take part in the negotiations. He will also hold a meeting with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum at the National Palace, where the sides will discuss progress in the negotiations on renewing the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
