The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office also stated that it had simultaneously imposed sanctions on Iranian nuclear and missile manufacturers alongside the US decision.
Iran's attack on a sovereign state was dangerous and reckless. In coordination with the United States, we are imposing sanctions on leading Iranian military figures and organizations involved in attacks on Israel, and narrowing the net against key players in the drone and missile industries.
The U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement that the measures target 16 people and two organizations that allowed the production of UAVs in Iran, including the types of engines that powered Iran's Shahed UAVs used in the April 13 attack.
The U.S. Treasury Department also announced that it is designating five companies in several jurisdictions that supply steelmaking components to Iran's Khuzestan Steel Company (KSC), one of the largest steel producers in Iran, or purchase finished steel products from KSC.
From now on, three subsidiaries of the Iranian automaker Bahman Group, which, according to him, materially supported the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, are also under sanctions.

This statement was made by the United States after the finance ministers and central bankers of the Group of Seven industrialized democracies met the day before. They agreed to "ensure close coordination of any future measures to reduce Iran's ability to acquire, produce, or transfer weapons to support destabilizing regional activities.
On Wednesday, European Union leaders also decided to tighten sanctions against Iran after Tehran's missile and drone attack on Israel, forcing world powers to try to prevent a wider conflict in the Middle East.
