In Irpin, Kyiv region, the pilot project Kyiv Region. Places of Memory" was presented. The large-scale social project was developed by the Kyiv Regional State Administration. Its slogan is "Don't look away. Look. Remember. Tell." This was reported on Facebook by Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the RMA, according to UNN .
Independence does not come easy! Today, we are paying a high price for the right to be free and independent. And we must always remember this in order to defeat the Russian occupier. Memory is our strength!
As Kravchenko pointed out, this is the route to the most famous places in Kyiv region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. 9 locations that the whole world knows about today, and the horrors that the Russian occupiers created there.
- Irpin: Romanivskyi Bridge, Irpin Lypky residential complex, Car Cemetery, Central House of Culture
- Bucha: Vokzalna Street, Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called and All Saints
- Gostomel: military town, memorial “Angel of Victory” in the village of Moshchun
- Borodianka: the central square
An information stand and a stele with QR codes were placed on the Romanivskyi Bridge, where the important project was launched.
"A couple of clicks and you're on the website of the Places of Memory augmented reality project. One more click and you can virtually experience everything that people went through during the evacuation on the Road of Life," Ruslan Kravchenko added.
The bridge itself was decorated with red threads. It is a symbol of hope, restoration and victory.
To accompany visitors along the entire route, CRSA has trained guides. These are 15 people who will tell about historical events in Ukrainian and English.
