The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation a new commemorative coin "30 Years of the Constitution of Ukraine" on the occasion of the anniversary of the country's Fundamental Law. This was reported by UNN with reference to the NBU.

The commemorative coin was presented during the celebrations at the Verkhovna Rada by the Deputy Head of the National Bank, Oleksiy Shaban. According to him, it symbolizes the historical continuity of Ukrainian statehood and the importance of the Constitution for the country's development.

The coin with a face value of 10 hryvnias is made of silver. Its obverse depicts key stages in the development of Ukrainian constitutionalism – from the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk to the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine on June 28, 1996.
The reverse features a stylized oak root with the encrypted inscription "CONSTITUTION", symbolizing the historical continuity of Ukrainian statehood. The circulation of the commemorative coin is up to 10 thousand copies.
