The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine is working on creating a universal special account for all types of assistance to families with children. This was announced by the Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine, Denys Ulyutin, during the Question Hour to the Government, UNN reports.
Details
The Ministry noted that new support programs for families with children have already shown results. In April 2026, 1.3 billion hryvnias were allocated for childcare assistance for children under one year old, and 78 million hryvnias for the "eYasla" (eNursery) program.
"We have developed an act regarding the timeframe for using 'child' funds; it has passed all coordination procedures and will be considered by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the near future. We are also working on universalizing the special account for all 'child' payments. That is, childcare assistance for children under one year old, 'eYasla', 'Baby Package', and 'Schoolchild Package' will operate within a single card,"
It was also noted that the Ministry of Social Policy, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, is finalizing a digital solution regarding the possibility of submitting applications for "child" payments through the Diia portal.
Recall
Since April 1, pensioners and vulnerable categories have been receiving one-time assistance. The funds will be deposited automatically into bank accounts or delivered via Ukrposhta.
