The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the provocations of the Russian Federation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. The statement of the diplomatic agency was quoted by UNN.
We call on all states and international organizations, experts and media to take a firm stand to neutralize the threats to nuclear safety created by Russia at ZNPP and to prevent the aggressor from implementing criminal scenarios in the future. We call on all states and international organizations that value nuclear safety norms and principles to strongly condemn Russian provocations at ZNPP and join the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, one of the important points of which is the restoration of nuclear and radiation safety.

Ukrainian diplomats once again emphasized that the seizure, militarization and occupation of the Ukrainian ZNPP by Russia poses unprecedented threats to nuclear safety not only in Ukraine but also in Europe and the world.
The agency called on partners to increase sanctions pressure on the aggressor state in the field of nuclear energy to prevent further Russian provocations at ZNPP and help liberate the plant from the occupiers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that ZNPP should be returned to the control of its rightful owner, Ukraine, and that Russia should be held accountable for all crimes committed.
