"A new record was set in the steel industry - 219,000 tons of semi-finished iron products were exported by Ukraine in July, which is the best figure since the war," the statement said.
Industrial exports reportedly dominated exports:
- iron ore and concentrates - $229 million (2.5 million tons),
- furniture - $37.9 million (18.9 tons),
- Semi-finished iron products - 219 thousand tons worth $109.4 million, up 83.1% compared to June.
"Ukraine exported almost $3 billion worth of goods in July this year. At the same time, the physical volume of exports in July is 0.6% less than in June, which is due to seasonal changes in exported crops. Overall, Ukrainian exports grew by 9% in July compared to the previous month," said Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine.
