          Tomorrow, July 7, the Brody community will bid farewell to the fallen Defenders.

          At 9:30 a.m., a cortege meeting will take place on the Alley of Heroes, after which a farewell ceremony will be held at the Church of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross. We sincerely express our condolences to the families, loved ones, brothers-in-arms, and all who knew our Defenders. Their courage, professionalism, and self-sacrifice will forever remain in the memory of the grateful people.

Studied at the Ivan Trush Gymnasium. Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming a military pilot, so in 2013 he entered the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force. After graduation, he served in the 16th separate army aviation brigade "Brody", constantly improving his flying skills. He gained his first combat experience during the Joint Forces Operation. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has made dozens of combat sorties, protecting the Ukrainian sky and supporting ground forces. Awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky II and III degrees, the Order of Danylo Halytskyi, and other departmental awards. The Hero is survived by his wife, son, and parents.

          Valentyn Andriyovych Mukshynov - senior navigator-pilot of the helicopter squadron of the 16th separate army aviation brigade "Brody". Born on May 29, 1991, in Kyiv. Studied at the Chernihiv Military Lyceum. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has carried out combat missions in various operational directions. During combat sorties, he showed courage, dedication, and high professionalism, earning well-deserved authority among his brothers-in-arms. Full Knight of the Order "For Courage", repeatedly awarded state and departmental honors. The Hero is survived by his wife, daughter, son, parents, and sister.

          Bohdan Olehovych Khmil - on-board aviation technician of the helicopter flight of the helicopter squadron of the 16th separate army aviation brigade "Brody". Born on September 20, 2000, in Vasylkiv, Kyiv region. After finishing school, he entered the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force, majoring in "Aviation Transport". In March 2022, he began service in the 16th separate army aviation brigade "Brody". He repeatedly carried out combat missions as part of a helicopter crew. He was noted for his high professionalism, responsibility, and devotion to the military oath, carefully preparing aviation equipment for combat flights. Awarded the distinction of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine". The Hero is survived by his wife and parents.

          Mykhailo Vasyliovych Deriaga - senior air gunner of the helicopter flight of the helicopter squadron of the 16th separate army aviation brigade "Brody". Born on February 3, 1989, in the village of Andriivka, Poltava region. Studied at the Mariupol Construction Professional College, majoring in "Construction and Civil Engineering". From November 2023, he served in the 16th separate army aviation brigade "Brody". As part of a helicopter crew, he carried out combat missions to protect the airspace of Ukraine. He was distinguished by his professionalism, determination, and courage, and was respected among his brothers-in-arms and command. Awarded the distinction of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine" and the Order "For Courage" III degree. The Hero is survived by his wife, son, parents, and brother.
