Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on The New York Times publication regarding the alleged use of the term "Donnyland" during negotiations concerning part of the Donetsk region. Zelenskyy told journalists about this, as reported by UNN.

According to the Head of State, only official names of Ukrainian territories are used in his negotiations.

During my negotiations, there are no other terms than Donetsk region, Luhansk region, our Donbas, Ukrainian land. Accordingly, there are documents where all this is stated

– said Zelenskyy.

As for other names, I cannot comment on any dialogues of a different nature between the parties

– he noted.

Separately, Zelenskyy emphasized that the preservation of Ukrainian sovereignty over these territories remains a fundamental issue.

In my opinion, the main thing is that Donetsk region, Luhansk region remain Ukrainian land, and that there is no "Putinland". This is the most important thing
