The government has changed the eHouse program, reducing the down payment on a mortgage to 10% for people under the age of 25. This decision is in line with the President's instruction and aims to increase the participation of young people in the program.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced changes to the eHouse program, fulfilling the President's order. The innovation is to reduce the down payment on a mortgage to 10% for citizens under the age of 25. He told about this at a government meeting, UNN reports.

Pursuant to the President's order, we are promptly adopting amendments to the eHouse program. We are talking about reducing the down payment on a mortgage to 10% for citizens under the age of 25 inclusive

He noted that more than 12,000 Ukrainian families have already benefited from this program, including military personnel, law enforcement officers, teachers, doctors and scientists.

The program is now expected to increase youth participation, which will give young families more opportunities to purchase real estate and improve their living standards.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada planned to make changes for internally displaced persons in the eOselya program, as their share in the program is 1%.
