The EU plans to introduce retaliatory measures against US tariffs on April 15. Tariffs on products will take effect on this day for the first package of measures, and on May 15 for the rest. This was stated by EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič, reports UNN.
In response to the steel and aluminum tariffs, we received valuable feedback from our member states and 660 stakeholders. After carefully studying them, we have prepared a list of effective countermeasures, while balancing the burden between member states. We will send them the final list and tariff levels later today.
