The SAPO noted that on November 1, the SAPO prosecutor appealed to the court with a request to extend the term of the procedural duties assigned to the accused in connection with the application of a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 107 million 127 thousand.
However, the next court sessions at which the court was supposed to consider the specified request, namely on November 5 and November 8, did not take place at the initiative of the court, and therefore the term of validity of the procedural duties expired on November 12.
"On November 8 and November 11, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's office sent letters to VAKS demanding to consider a request to extend the preventive measure until the end of its term. An additional meeting was never scheduled," the SAPO said.
