A coordination center for integrated border management has been launched in Ukraine. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service , UNN reports.

The newly created coordination center will monitor and inform about the current situation at the state border. It was established on the basis of the Situation Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs by a resolution of the Government of Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the EU Regulation.
The State Border Guard Service emphasized that the activities of this Center are one of the criteria for Ukraine's accession to the EU.
The Center's work will be aimed at facilitating the coordination of IBM actors, exchanging data and conducting research, formulating joint conclusions and forecasts, and preparing a situational report on the situation at the state border.
Representatives of the State Border Guard Service, the State Customs Service, the National Police, the National Guard, and the State Migration Service will work simultaneously at the center.
Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, noted that this form of interaction allows for 24/7 monitoring of the security environment in the country.
