The work of the competition commission for the selection of administrative positions in the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has started, reports UNN with reference to the statement of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
As reported by the OPG, on July 6, 2026, the first official meeting of the Competition Commission for organizing and conducting the competition for administrative positions in the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office took place.
The Commission elected its leadership.
The Commission was headed by Laura Stefan, a member of the Commission, appointed based on proposals from international and foreign organizations.
Serhiy Shmaleny, a member of the Commission appointed on the proposal of the Council of Prosecutors of Ukraine, was elected Deputy Chairperson.
During the meeting, the draft Rules of Procedure of the Commission, issues of organizing the activities of the Secretariat were also discussed, and a decision was made to submit the draft Rules for public discussion.
The Commission invites the public, the expert community, and all interested parties to join the discussion.
Proposals to the draft Rules can be sent to the address: commission@saposelection.org.ua. The deadline is July 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Also, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that the commission decided to appeal to international partners with a request to support its work.
