Telegram domain addresses t.me and telegram.me have become inaccessible to users in various countries around the world, causing links to messenger channels and profiles to stop opening in browsers. This is reported by specialized resources, writes UNN.
Details
According to preliminary data, the problem is related to the .me domain zone, whose administrator is the registry of Montenegro. In particular, when querying the address t.me via Google Public DNS, the system returns a message about the absence of the domain in the global DNS system.

At the same time, the Telegram messenger itself continues to operate normally. The mobile app and desktop version remain available, and the problem only concerns opening domain links through a browser.
The causes of the outage are currently unknown. Meanwhile, WHOIS data indicates that the domain t.me remains registered to its owner until May 20, 2035, and the Google Domains name servers have not changed, so the problem is not related to the expiration of the registration term or loss of the right to the domain.
