In Dnipro, TCC military personnel abducted a man and dumped him near a trash bin in critical condition. Two suspects have already been served with notices of suspicion for kidnapping.

In Dnipro, during a document check, TCC (Territorial Recruitment Center) military personnel forced a man into a vehicle, and when they realized the man had become ill, they dumped him helpless near a trash bin and disappeared in an unknown direction. As reported by the National Police, law enforcement officers have identified the perpetrators, and two of them have already been served with notices of suspicion, reports UNN.

Details

Operatives, in cooperation with Dnipro police investigators, established the involvement of three servicemen in the kidnapping. At the time of the illegal acts, they were serving in one of the regional TCCs and were independently conducting measures for notification and clarification of military registration data.

Early in the morning, they saw a man of mobilization age on a deserted street. Under the pretext of checking documents, they approached him and, without waiting for a response, immediately grabbed him and forcibly pushed him into a van. Inside the vehicle, the conspirators acted defiantly: they applied psychological pressure and intimidated him. Before their eyes, the victim's health significantly deteriorated, and he became ill. But instead of providing assistance and taking him to a hospital, the accomplices pushed the helpless man out of the car onto the ground near a trash bin and fled. Notably, one of the servicemen held the position of a rifleman-medic and should have taken measures to help the man. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Shortly after the incident, two of the suspects transferred to serve in other military units, while another remained serving at the recruitment center.

Currently, two suspects have already been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 146 (Illegal deprivation of liberty or kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In addition, the rifleman-medic is additionally charged under Part 3 of Art. 135 (Leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A notice of suspicion is being prepared for another of their former colleagues. They face criminal liability. The investigation is ongoing.
