The Defense Forces have all the conditions to prepare three shifts of military personnel for rotations every two months - Syrskyi

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have the capacity to organize three shifts of service members to conduct constant rotations every two months. Syrskyi stated this in an interview with Militarnyi, UNN reports.

Details

"We have calculated everything: the number of personnel currently in brigades at positions on average and the availability of personnel deployed to the operational area. There is a large number of our service members located in combat zones. We have all the conditions to create three shifts and ensure the training of the shift that will go in as a replacement for rotation at our training grounds and facilities adapted for this purpose," Syrskyi said.

He noted that it is important to ensure not only rotation but also training for service members preparing to perform combat missions.

"Secondly, I have set a date—the 15th of every month—for us to monitor the implementation of rotations. For example, groups of officers are currently working to verify how brigades have accounted for service members on the front lines and how their duration of stay has been recorded. That is, we now need to clarify everything, deal with the people who will be replacing them, and create a control system for this," Syrskyi added.

Recall

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that active work is currently underway regarding the discharge of military personnel from the army during the war and the possibility for them to receive a deferment depending on the time they spent on the battlefield. According to him, mobilization must reach a logical conclusion.
