First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko stated that the Ukrainian defense sector has undergone a massive transformation during the years of full-scale war and is now capable of producing modern solutions for the front line itself. Details
According to Svyrydenko, at the beginning of the invasion, Ukraine primarily received aid from partners, but now the situation has changed significantly.
Ukraine was a country that received aid from the first days of the invasion, and now it is capable of providing the most modern solutions in the field of defense
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that Ukrainian technologies are already influencing the course of the war and changing its nature.
We are capable of destroying tanks, expensive systems, using drones – this is our reality
She added that a significant portion of the weaponry and systems used by Ukraine is produced within the country.
Many of these systems that we use are produced in Ukraine. I think we have made a huge leap here
Separately, Svyrydenko called for deepening cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in the defense sector. According to her, this will strengthen the security of both countries and create new business opportunities.
We are actively calling for joint projects to be implemented both in Ukraine and in Poland. This also represents new business opportunities for our companies
She also thanked Poland for its support of Ukraine and for organizing the conference in Rzeszów.
