In Thailand, a student opened fire at a school in Nonthaburi province, north of Bangkok. The attack killed a teacher and injured four other people, after which the shooter committed suicide, Reuters reports, writes UNN.

According to Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commander Lieutenant Colonel Dehrapi Kongdee, one teacher and three students were among the injured. He confirmed the casualty information to Reuters and said that the attacker took his own life after the shooting.
Photographs distributed by rescue services show students being evacuated from Debsirin Nonthaburi School, while emergency medical teams work at the scene. In one of the images, medics are transporting an injured person on a stretcher.
According to local authorities, about 3,100 students attended the school in the 2025 academic year, and the teaching staff consisted of 147 teachers.
This is not the first similar incident in the country this year. In February, an armed man opened fire at a school in Hat Yai District in southern Thailand, killing a teacher and injuring one of the students.
