The spine center of the well-known Respine network in Brovary will soon celebrate its 5th anniversary. It has become the center of an innovative approach to rehabilitation and health restoration, which attracts patients from all over Kyiv region. As Olena Prudka, the center's head, rehabilitation therapist and spine surgeon, told UNN, the choice of the city was not accidental, as it is actively developing.

Brovary is deservedly considered one of the most comfortable cities for doing business. The local authorities, led by Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, actively promote entrepreneurship by creating comfortable conditions for investors and local businessmen. Thanks to the support of the city, Brovary successfully implements state and international financing programs aimed at developing infrastructure, supporting business and creating new jobs.

Systemic support for entrepreneurs, including grant programs, preferential conditions for startups, and assistance in adapting businesses to modern challenges, have become the basis for a favorable business climate. Such conditions have contributed to the development of innovative projects, one of which is the Respine Spine Center, which will soon celebrate its 5th anniversary.

"I am a resident of Brovary, and the city is young and actively developing. At that time, we saw that services like ours simply did not exist here," says Olena Prudka about why they decided to open another branch of the well-known Center in Brovary.

From the basement to the modern two-story center

According to the director, the first step toward establishing the Center was taken in a small 80-square-meter basement. There was a massage room, a doctor's office, and a classroom. They worked like that for 3 years.

However, the war made its own adjustments. "When the full-scale invasion began, many employees left, but those who stayed resumed work a month and a half later. There were five of us," recalls Olena Prudka.

And then, she says, the difficulties associated with power outages began. "We somehow survived the winter, and then I told the management that let's look for another place. And so a year ago we found a place at 2a Lvivska Street. It's a two-story building... We were happy with it because it was warm, light, and had plenty of space. And now we have been working there for a year," said the head of the Brovary Spine Center.

Olena Prudka noted that she used grant support to expand the center's activities. "My son and I received two grants totaling UAH 500,000, which we used to purchase equipment. We also took advantage of employment programs for young people and people with disabilities," she said.

Unique methods and programs for patients

The center offers a wide range of services, including biomechanical therapy and kinesiotherapy using the Bubnovsky method. "We have three such units, and they are busy all day long, with a session every hour," the manager said. The center also provides physiotherapy procedures, which are very popular among patients.

According to her, there are a lot of patients now, they come not only from Brovary and the district, but also from Pereiaslav, Yahotyn, and other cities in Kyiv Oblast.

In addition, Brovary's Spine Center actively supports the military by providing them with free services. "We offer 10 free physiotherapy treatments and 30% discounts on massages and further procedures. This is our initiative, our way of thanking the defenders," emphasizes Olena Prudka.

She noted that the Spine Center in Brovary continues to develop and plans to expand its range of services. "We strive to help even more people and introduce new methods of rehabilitation," summarized Olena Prudka.

In Brovary, the City Council operates a Business Support Center where entrepreneurs and people who are just planning to start their own business can get free advice on business registration, renting premises, and receiving grants. This year, about 150 people, mostly representatives of micro and small businesses, applied to the Center.

According to the mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, Brovary managed to attract more than UAH 466 million in investments and create almost 600 new jobs during martial law as part of the implementation of [76] investment projects . He added that during the period of martial law, the number of various companies and individual entrepreneurs in the Brovary community has increased - there are currently more than 18,000 of them.

In addition to foreign funding, Brovary will also receive other assistance from the twin cities. For example, German partners have provided the local community with generators, medical equipment, special vehicles, and much more. In October, a representative of the municipality of the German twin city of Jena, City Councilor Matthias Mitt, arrived in Brovary to identify specific areas for further cooperation with his Ukrainian colleagues.

In total, as part of cooperation with the German cities of Jena and Erlangen, as well as the Lan Dill district, Brovary received three ambulances, four fire trucks, three units of public transport, one school bus, generators, and various equipment for community educational institutions and the modular town where the IDPs live.
