Soldiers of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodny Yar" destroyed 2 enemy UAVs "Orlan-10" with SAM "Strela-10" in the east. This was reported by the commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavlyuk, UNN reports.
Air defense units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to engage enemy air targets, defending the sky in the East. The soldiers of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodny Yar" destroyed at least 2 enemy UAVs "Orlan-10" with "Strela-10" air defense systems today.
Details
Pavliuk said that the brigade has been fighting since 2014, taking part in the battles for Ilovaisk and Donetsk airport. In 2022, it prevented the enemy from entering Okhtyrka, liberated Trostianets and a number of settlements in Sumy and Kharkiv regions, preparing the ground for the Kharkiv counteroffensive. From August 2022 to May 2023, it fought for Bakhmut. Currently, the brigade is holding back the enemy on the Bakhmut and Lyman directions.
Hundreds of soldiers from the 93rd Brigade have been honored with state awards. Ten were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, seven of them, unfortunately, posthumously.
