Dmytro Lazutkin, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said that recruitment in Ukraine is in demand. At the moment, 3.2 thousand people are already registered with the military recruitment center or are already studying at training centers. He made this statement in an interview with NV , UNN reports .

Recruiting is developing, people are interested. We see that more than 10 thousand people applied to recruitment centers this year alone. Currently, more than 3.2 thousand people are being processed at the TCC or are already studying at training centers. In total, more than 300 thousand resumes were processed on online platforms. In total, 17-18 thousand vacancies were posted from various units of the Defense Forces: the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Support Forces. The Defense Forces are now the largest employer in the country. You know that the salaries are quite decent, as well as the additional allowances. He noted that there is currently a high demand for UAV operators, mechanics, drivers, medics, scouts, and IT specialists. He also pointed out the need for back-office roles such as clerks, cooks, and other similar positions.

Almost every fifth candidate who applies to recruitment centers of the Ukrainian army is a woman. At the same time, the proportion of women in the Armed Forces is currently less than 5%, according to the authorized representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on recruitment.
