During a working visit to Zaporizhzhia region, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal inspected the construction of fortifications and heard a report from the head of the RMA on this issue, UNN reports, citing a statement from the Cabinet of Ministers.

As stated in the report, UAH 1.4 billion was directly allocated to Zaporizhzhia RMA for the construction of fortifications. In total, this year the Government has allocated UAH 2.4 billion for Zaporizhzhia region.
"The construction of defensive lines is one of the key priorities and part of the responsibility of regional governors. After all, it is about protecting the lives of our military and our defense capabilities," Shmyhal said.
In Zaporizhzhia, the Prime Minister also paid tribute to the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives defending the country from Russia's full-scale aggression.
"We are eternally indebted to their courage and self-sacrifice. Eternal glory to the heroes!" - said Denys Shmyhal.
