In Odesa, the consequences of yesterday's Russian attack continue to be eliminated. Water supply is gradually being restored. Heating has been partially restored, and work is underway to fully restore heat supply. The head of Odesa regional state administration Oleh Kiper told about this during the "United News" marathon, UNN reports.
"As for heat, power engineers have been working for more than a day to supply electricity to those hub stations where it is essential for the city to be supplied with water.
Heating and our boiler houses depend on the availability of water. Yesterday, electricity was supplied to the main power stations, water was supplied to all boiler houses, and they are now running. Their parameters are gaining momentum to supply heat to the homes of our residents. By the evening, I think the heat will be supplied to the homes," he said.
Kiper added that some boiler houses are still running on generators. Hospitals and other critical infrastructure facilities are supplied with electricity from alternative and backup sources. Two of the seven districts in the region remain partially without power supply - Podilskyi and Odesa.
There are 445 invincibility points deployed in the city. In total, there are more than 600 in the region.
The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration also reminded that November 18 and 19 are days off in Odesa's educational institutions.
