On Saturday, April 20, Russian troops fired 54 times at Sumy region. 283 explosions were recorded. One person was wounded. 13 communities were shelled. This was reported by the Sumy RMA, according to UNN.
Details
- Krasnopilska community: the Russian army fired from artillery (23 explosions) and mortars (8 explosions). There were also attacks by an FPV drone (2 explosions) and 2 VOG shells were dropped from a drone.
- Velykopysarivska community: artillery shelling (31 explosions), mortar shelling (15 explosions).
- Mykolaiv community: Russian soldiers fired from a multiple rocket launcher system (24 explosions).
- Esman community: mortar shelling (14 explosions), artillery (5 explosions), multiple rocket launcher system (8 explosions) and FPV drone shelling (1 explosion) were recorded.
- Bilopil community: 38 mines were dropped by Russian troops on the territory of the community. There was also artillery shelling (6 explosions).
- Seredyna-Budska community: artillery shelling (2 explosions), mortar shelling (26 explosions), and explosives dropped from a drone.
- Khotyn community: Russian army fired from artillery (14 explosions). A resident of the community was injured as a result of the shelling.
- Shalyhyne community: there was artillery shelling (8 explosions), shelling with multiple rocket launchers (8 explosions) and mortars (1 explosion).
- Myropilska community: artillery shelling (2 explosions), mortar shelling (2 explosions) and drone attacks (2 explosions).
- Novoslobidska community: 6 mines were dropped by the Russian military on the territory of the community. There was also artillery shelling (3 explosions).
- Yunikivska community: explosives were dropped from a drone from the territory of the Russian Federation (3 explosions).
- Znob-Novhorod community: 2 mortar explosions were recorded.
- Shostka community: a multiple rocket launcher system was fired from the territory of the Russian Federation (4 explosions).
