Russians have intensified their assault operations in the Avdiivka sector. Our defenders repelled 26 attacks by the occupiers over the last day. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 26 attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Umanske, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to force our units out of their positions.

A total of 79 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline over the last day.
The Russians launched 25 missile and 52 air strikes, and fired 42 multiple launch rocket systems at both the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Liman sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled nine Russian attacks near Tverdokhlibove and Kreminna in Luhansk region and near Terny in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, our troops withstood 15 Russian assaults. With the support of aviation, the invaders tried to improve the tactical situation near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, and Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Chasovyi Yar and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Russian army attacked 16 times. They stormed near Novomykhailivka and Pobeda. The invaders failed to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders 4 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 6 attacks on the positions of our troops - all near Krynky, Kherson region.
