Over the past day, Russian troops attacked the Chernihiv region, resulting in casualties and damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the State Emergency Service, according to UNN.

According to rescuers, in the Koriukivka district, residential buildings and a car caught fire in two communities as a result of the attacks. Two people, born in 1974 and 2001, were injured. They were hospitalized.

A Russian drone strike was also recorded in the city of Chernihiv. The attack caused two cars to catch fire and damaged a two-story building.
In the Chernihiv district, specifically in the Ripky community and in Horodnia, private residential buildings and a non-operational shop building were damaged.
The State Emergency Service noted that rescuers worked at the strike sites, eliminating the consequences of the attacks and providing necessary assistance to the residents of the region.
