Russian troops struck two communities in Chernihiv region over the past day. Forty-two explosions from mortars, artillery, and drones were recorded, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service reported on Saturday, UNN reported.

"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with 120-mm mortars, FPV drones and cannon artillery. Forty-two explosions were recorded," the regional office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Facebook and listed the number:
- Novhorod-Siverska community: 20 explosions (probably from 120-mm mortars, cannon artillery and UAVs) in the direction of Hai and Kovpynka.
- Semenivka community: 22 explosions (allegedly from 120-mm mortars, cannon artillery and UAVs) in the localities of Bleshnya, Karpovychi, Orlykivka, Prohres and Khotiyivka.
There is no information on deaths or injuries among the local population as a result of the shelling.
