On the morning of August 9, the Russian army struck Kharkiv's Saltivskyi District. Two men were killed in the attack, and at least 21 other people were injured, including a 5-year-old boy. This was reported by Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, according to UNN.

According to the official, the occupiers struck a multi-story residential building. The impact destroyed the 7th through 10th floors. It is currently known that the two men killed were aged 50 and 66.
At least 21 people were injured, including a 5-year-old boy: 11 people suffered blast injuries, two were poisoned by carbon monoxide, and another eight, including a child, experienced an acute stress reaction. Four people were hospitalized and are being treated by our doctors. The remaining injured people received medical assistance at the scene
