In the Donetsk region, Russian troops struck a civilian car with a drone in the Kramatorsk district, resulting in two dead and two wounded, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported on Friday, writes UNN.

According to the prosecutor's office, on July 17, the army of the aggressor state struck the village of Iverske in the Novodonetsk community, southwest of Kramatorsk, using an FPV drone. The weapon hit a civilian vehicle.
"As a result of the attack, two men aged 60 and 61 sustained injuries incompatible with life. Also, two women aged 64 and 85 were wounded," the prosecutor's office stated.
The victims were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of a war crime (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to data from the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, over the past day, Russians shelled populated areas of Donetsk region 28 times. On July 16, Russians killed 1 resident of Donetsk region in Nadiya, and another 14 people in the region were wounded over the day. According to data from the Donetsk region police, among the wounded are two children.
