Russian troops fired 5 times at the border area of Chernihiv region yesterday, 18 explosions from mortar and air attacks were recorded. This was reported on Tuesday by the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

"During the day, Russian troops fired mortars at the border of Chernihiv region on five occasions. 18 explosions were recorded," the Mission's Facebook post reads.
In particular, hostile attacks were recorded:
Novhorod-Siverska community: 5 explosions
- 2 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the direction of Hremyach village;
- 3 explosions (probably from an aircraft) in the direction of Krasny Khutor settlement.
Semenivka community: 11 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the area of Bleshnya and Leonivka.
Snovska community: 2 explosions (probably from a 120-mm mortar) in the direction of Khrinivka.
There is no information on deaths and injuries among the local population as a result of the shelling.
