Russia intends to seize all of Ukraine, but the Defense Forces are systematically weakening its ability to wage war and thwarting its plans. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, reports UNN.
Details
Syrskyi met with members of the newly established Military Expert Council ARES (Allied Reform and Expert Support) under the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held a conversation with the Head of the Council, General Sir Richard Shirreff (Deputy Supreme Commander of NATO Allied Forces in 2011–2014) and Lieutenant General Pavel Macko (Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic in 2013–2018).
I informed my colleagues about the operational situation on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the use of new tactics and types of weapons. We must continue to build up our own capabilities and maintain stability at all levels - both through internal reserves and thanks to the support of international partners
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also expressed gratitude to his foreign colleagues for their readiness to join with new tools to strengthen military and political support for Ukraine.
We have unique combat experience - the experience of the largest and most technological war of the XXI century - and are ready to share it to enhance the capabilities of partner armies. I am convinced that this will contribute to strengthening the security and stability of a united Europe, of which Ukraine is an integral part
