During a massive strike, Russia attacked the energy sector in the capital region; over 14,000 families remain without power, the energy company DTEK reported, according to UNN.

"Energy workers have already restored power to over 2,200 families in the Kyiv region who were left without electricity due to enemy shelling. Last night, the region in particular was under a massive enemy attack. Power grids, equipment, and company vehicles were damaged. Currently, more than 14,000 families remain without power," DTEK stated on social media.

Energy workers, as noted, are doing everything possible to restore power to all homes as quickly as possible.

In Kyiv, according to DTEK data, "the enemy attacked energy infrastructure" as well.

"In the capital, as a result of the missile and drone strike, a DTEK transformer substation and a high-voltage line were damaged. A production site, specialized equipment, and 29 vehicles were also damaged," the company's statement reads.

Energy workers are reportedly already working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
