On Saturday, April 11, a build-up of vehicles entering Ukraine was recorded at the western borders. This is happening before Easter, which will take place on April 12. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Customs Service and the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Details
According to customs officers and border guards, a build-up of vehicles entering Ukraine is observed at several checkpoints in the Lviv region.
As of 13:00, at the Krakovets-Korczowa checkpoint, about 70 cars and 280 trucks were preparing to enter.
At the same time, at the Shehyni-Medyka checkpoint, more than 40 cars and 110 trucks were recorded, and at the Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne checkpoint, 230 trucks were waiting in line to exit Poland.
We ask everyone who plans to cross the border to take this situation into account and choose alternative checkpoints. We recommend choosing less congested checkpoints
