Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has reacted to an open letter from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposing an end to the war. He stated this during the broadcast of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, UNN reports with reference to Russian "media."

According to the dictator, he received the letter from his spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. He stated that he currently sees no point in a meeting with the Ukrainian president. Putin also added that Kyiv needs to "stop the Russian offensive," while Moscow needs "agreements."

The dictator added that he "never refused Zelenskyy a meeting, but is against pouring from one empty vessel into another," and also commented on the attention paid to his age in Zelenskyy's letter.
