Due to the strikes, Ukraine has reduced Russia's oil refining by 10%, forcing companies to shut down wells. Russia's budget deficit has already exceeded annual targets.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in these months, 10% of Russian oil refining has been cut, a significant number of their regions are already in a state of bankruptcy, and Putin is leading Russia to bankruptcy, UNN reports.

In these months alone, 10% of Russian oil refining is gone. It is also important to note that Russian oil companies are forced to shut down wells. This is even more significant. The nature of Russian oil production is such that this is exactly what is most unpleasant for them. Of course, besides the loss of money. To restore production at the wells, Russia needs to do much more than many other oil-producing countries that shut down wells in response even to simple market fluctuations. The Russians cannot do that. For them, losing production is truly very painful. And if we talk about overall Russian state revenues, thanks to our comprehensive pressure—at all levels—in the five months of the year, they already have a deficit significantly larger than they had planned for the year

According to the President, Putin has, of course, set aside money for the war, but certainly not enough to fight indefinitely.

Every retaliatory strike of ours, every step of pressure we take together with our partners—all of this pushes Russia to end its war. Currently, a significant number of their regions are already in a state of bankruptcy, and Putin is leading Russia to bankruptcy. And the various schemes they come up with to make money will not help them. We see these Russian schemes. We are documenting them. And we will break them
