Prosecutors in the state of Utah have released new video in the murder case of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. According to investigators, the footage shows the accused, Tyler Robinson, in a sniper position on the roof of a building immediately before the fatal shot. This was reported by Reuters, writes UNN.

The evidence was presented during the second day of the preliminary court hearing in Provo. The prosecution is seeking to have the case sent to trial and intends to seek the death penalty for 23-year-old Robinson. He is charged with seven criminal offenses, including aggravated murder.
Investigator David Hull stated in court that the video was recorded at the time of the shooting.

According to the investigator, surveillance camera recordings also captured Robinson on the university campus on the day of the murder. The defense insists that another person may have been involved in the crime and drew attention to a pistol found after the shooting on campus grounds. However, the investigator stated that this weapon is not evidence in the case.
