In Poland, a significant intensification of Russian bot farm activities is being recorded, which are attempting to aggravate Polish-Ukrainian relations through information manipulations. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, citing a statement by the Minister-Coordinator of the Special Services of Poland, Tomasz Siemoniak, as conveyed by UNN.
Details
According to the Polish official, Russia is actively using troll farms, bot networks, and other information warfare tools to spread manipulative content and speculations around historical disputes between Poles and Ukrainians.
"In this way, the Kremlin is trying to provoke tension in Polish-Ukrainian relations, creating emotionally charged information triggers and fueling polarization in both societies," the CCD noted.
The Center also recalled that Polish law enforcement had previously recorded attempts by Russia to organize and finance events aimed at destabilizing the situation in Poland. According to the CCD's assessment, the Kremlin has been forming an information basis for inciting Polish-Ukrainian contradictions for years, using historical themes and other socially sensitive issues to strengthen mutual distrust.
Addition
The CCD reported that the FSB of the Russian Federation is preparing a provocation with fake documents to split relations between Ukraine and Poland.
"The enemy cynically exploits painful historical themes, trying to artificially incite enmity between Ukraine and Poland. The goal of this FSB special operation is to destroy strategic partnership through manipulations of the past," stated the CCD.
