The E-2D Hawkeye is an all-weather, long-range tactical deck-mounted aircraft. It is equipped with a rotating antenna capable of tracking multiple targets and a friend-or-foe recognition system. It can coordinate strikes on air, ground, and sea targets. The first model was used in the United States in 1964, and the E-2D is an upgraded version.
