A city council deputy was found dead in a car in Odesa; police are investigating the circumstances, UNN reports with reference to the National Police in Odesa region.

The incident occurred this morning in the Primorsky district.
The man's body was found in a car on one of the city's streets. It has been preliminarily established that he may have committed suicide using a firearm.
An investigative and operational police group is working at the scene.
"All circumstances of the incident are being established. The issue of legal qualification and entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations is being resolved," the report states.
