In Romania, as part of a search operation at the sites of the alleged fall of drone fragments after the Russian “shahed” strike on Ukraine, new UAV fragments were found in the Chatalkioi area of Tulcea County. This was reported by the Ministry of National Defense of Romania, UNN reports.

The agency noted that the search was carried out by mixed groups of specialists from the Ministry of Defense and other specialized structures of the national defense, public order and national security system.
“In all the areas where the possibility of drone debris was reported, elements have been found near the settlements of Plauru and Periprava, Tulcea County. On Wednesday, July 31, elements of drones were also confirmed in the Cheatalca area of Tulcea County,” the Romanian ministry said in a statement.
The agency added that “standard operating procedures for such situations have been introduced.
The Romanian side noted that “all the places identified as the event zones are outside of populated areas, and no people or infrastructure was affected.
