The National Bank of Ukraine has excluded 15 foreign currencies from the list to which the official exchange rate of the hryvnia is set. UNN reports with reference to the NBU press service.
The National Bank of Ukraine is updating the list of currencies to which the official exchange rate of the hryvnia is set from March 31, 2025. A number of monetary units have been excluded from the list of currencies to which the official exchange rate of the hryvnia is determined.
These are: Russian ruble, Belarusian ruble, Brazilian real, Armenian dram, Dominican peso, Iraqi dinar, Iranian rial, Libyan dinar, Moroccan dirham, New Taiwan dollar, Pakistani rupee, som, somoni, Turkmen new manat and Uzbek sum.
Instead, the frequency of setting the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the Algerian dinar, baht, UAE dirham, dong, lari, Lebanese pound, Malaysian ringgit, Saudi riyal, Serbian dinar, taki and Tunisian dinar has been changed from monthly to daily.

The corresponding changes are due to the increasing level of automation of calculations - this has reduced the operational restrictions and risks of daily calculation of the official exchange rate for a wide range of currencies.
There have been no other changes in the lists of currencies and banking metals to which the official exchange rate of the hryvnia is set, the NBU reports.
Reminder
The National Bank of Ukraine set the hryvnia exchange rate at 41.4787 UAH/USD. The dollar exchange rate in banks is 41.76-41.22 UAH, in exchange offices 41.38-41.49 UAH.
